Author: Taylor Klinkel

Taylor Klinkel is from Spearfish, South Dakota. She attended Montana State University, where she received a master’s degree in architecture and minor in political science. During two trips to Kenya, Taylor applied her architecture education in the design and building of straw bale housing. Taylor has also met with the United Nations Head of Shelter Branch to engage in discussions around sustainable housing solutions in Kenya. Taylor’s interest and skills were cultivated as a member of a design/build studio based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After school Taylor, along with some of her colleagues, co-established a small business with the goal of providing clients with affordable design. In her free time, Taylor enjoys rock climbing and hiking.
