Tinashe is a medical doctor from Harare, Zimbabwe. He completed his bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). While at UZ, he was Chairperson of the Students Christian Medical Fellowship where he led students in community work and support programs for sick children. He has served as an Outreach Coordinator under Celebration Health and Christian Medical Fellowship of Zimbabwe, leading medical teams to offer free health services in rural communities. He has worked with teenagers with HIV/AIDS through the Champions for Life program, where he has assisted in providing psychosocial support for teens who have lost hope due to socio-economic challenges and the impact of HIV/AIDS. Tinashe was a guest speaker at the International Christian Medical and Dental Association World Congress held in Uruguay 2010, where he spoke on the remarkable and successful fight against a cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe. He is a team player and networker who continues to search for opportunities to increase knowledge on improving public health so that he becomes an even stronger contributor to the betterment of global health.
