Allison Howard-Berry

Chief Executive Officer

Allison Howard-Berry is a social sector leader with 20 years of experience building health organizations and systems that expand access to care around the world. She is the incoming Chief Executive Officer of Global Health Corps, where she will lead the organization’s work mobilizing a diverse community of leaders to build the movement for global health equity.

In 2009, she co-founded Care 2 Communities (C2C) in Haiti, building it from the ground up into a thriving social enterprise serving over 100,000 patients annually. As Chief Executive for a decade, she led its strategic growth and built a business model designed to generate both social impact and financial sustainability.

Most recently, Allison served as Chief Advancement Officer at Touch Health, an organization devoted to strengthening health systems in East Africa through partnerships and programs that broke down barriers to care. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Planned Parenthood North Central States and the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in Ethiopia — experiences that shaped her conviction that durable health solutions require both rigorous systems thinking and entrepreneurial execution.

Allison holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). She serves on the Board of Directors of Kusasa Scholars, which advances youth leadership development and education in rural South Africa.
