Alice Maimba Mapulanga is from Lusaka, Zambia. She attended the University of Zambia where she majored in communications and minored in development studies. In her second year, she joined the university radio station and gave commentary on a sports show with particular interest in football and Formula1. In her fourth year, she was part of a group that did rotational production duties for radio station programming. Before joining GHC, Alice worked as a brand and public relations officer at SOS Children’s Villages Zambia, an organization that takes a holistic approach to child care for orphans and vulnerable children. During her free time, Alice enjoys reading, movies, outdoor and water activities.
