"I am inspired by GHC's confidence in my peers and myself to make a concrete difference."

Caitlin Callahan is from Greenwich, Connecticut. In June, she graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelors in Political Science, International Studies, and Global Health. At Northwestern University, Caitlin was involved with several social justice organizations on campus; she founded and directed the Northwestern Living Wage Campaign and served as an executive board member for the largest service organization on campus for three years. She also spent a semester studying public health systems in Paris at Sciences Po. During her undergraduate career, Caitlin spent her summers working for a United Nations think tank, interning at a nonprofit public health education organization, conducting research about and reinventing metrics for social development, and working in Peru as a consultant to an artisanal company, where she helped identify alternative solutions to the artisans' lack of access to electricity and health care. Caitlin loves traveling and the outdoors.
