Connor Schultz was born in Portland, Connecticut. He completed his undergraduate degree at New York University in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study where he focused his work on the intersections of global health, social justice and post-colonial studies. While at New York University, Connor traveled to Accra, Ghana working in the Emergency Unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Here, he assisted in the development, monitoring and analysis of a population-specific triage system. Additionally, Connor worked closely with clinical staff and hospital personnel to develop strategies for comprehensive tuberculosis screenings. Prior to GHC, he worked for the New York City Department of Health on HIV research and outreach in high-risk communities. During his free time, Connor enjoys reading, traveling, biking and collecting records.
