Delanie is from Salinas, California and graduated from University of California at Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and a minor in Global Poverty and Practice. During her studies, Delanie traveled to Israel to volunteer for Windows: Channels for Communication, a non-profit based in Tel Aviv that works with Israeli and Palestinian youth to produce a Hebrew-Arabic Magazine. Additionally, Delanie interned at the Peace Corps Headquarters in Washington, DC. Prior to joining GHC, Delanie worked for Magoosh, a startup that offers online test-prep services to students all over the world. Delanie has been playing the oboe and English horn for ten years and played for the University Symphony Orchestra at UC Berkeley.
