Douglas Serwada is from Kampala, Uganda. Douglas co-founded SpinAfrica, a social enterprise that works with partners across Uganda to transform communities through entrepreneurship. Prior to joining GHC, he worked with USAID’s SAFE Program, implementing a project on access to justice and peace building. Douglas has volunteered with the nonprofit organization Restless Development and was a Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) fellow at the regional leadership centre in Nairobi, Kenya. He holds a post-graduate diploma in project planning and management from Uganda Management Institute and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Makerere University.
