Faith Kroeker Maus grew up in Wayne, NE. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, and a master’s degree in International Development and a Certificate in Global Health Affairs from the University of Denver. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Faith spent five summers on American Indian Reservations in South Dakota and Montana working on youth and community development. While in graduate school, Faith interned for the UN Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) in Johannesburg, South Africa. After receiving her master’s degree, Faith joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and served as the Minneapolis Division’s lead Horn of Africa Analyst for three years. In this position, Faith traveled to Kampala, Uganda, to provide in-country technical expertise to prosecutors and investigators working on the 2010 Kampala Bombing Investigation. When she is not traveling, Faith enjoys reading, in-line skating, skiing, and drinking tea with her husband David.
