Title: Project Manager, Georgetown University Center for Children and Families

Born and raised in Herndon, Virginia, Jade Little now calls Arlington, Virginia home. As Project Manager at Georgetown University's Center for Children and Families, Jade’s work focuses on strengthening Medicaid programs across ten states in the South, Midwest, and Northeast to support low-income families and communities of color enrolled in Medicaid’s health coverage. Jade leads the management and administration of funding and technical assistance to state and local advocacy groups working to preserve and expand Medicaid coverage for families and pregnant people. She also oversees the public impact reporting process for Medicaid enrollment data for all 50 states and Washington, D.C., which has been cited in national news publications like The New York Times and The Washington Post. Her passion for reproductive health and justice extends beyond her work at Georgetown; she is a doula in her local community. As a GHC fellow, Jade is eager to learn about systems approaches to addressing the glaring racial inequities and health disparities exposed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and gain the skills to amplify her impact within the communities she serves.
