Kira Halpern was born and raised in California, USA. She is passionate about making the world a better place by expanding equality. During college, Kira volunteered in Moshi, Tanzania, where she discovered her passion for working in under-served communities to create positive social and economic change. Prior to joining GHC, Kira worked as a Sales Executive for an international agricultural company where she gained valuable understanding of international business and the supply chain process. Additionally, Kira interned at the International Rescue Committee in San Diego, assisting refugees and asylees in the process of completing family reunification applications. Kira’s hobbies include traveling, cooking, hiking, and camping. She feels an obligation and deep desire to play an impactful role as a catalyst for positive change in under-served populations. Kira believes everyone deserves equal access to healthcare and is excited to be a part of transforming that into a reality.
