Maggie Savage graduated from Duke University in 2009 with a BA in Public Policy Studies and a focus on global health. During her undergraduate career, she studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland, worked with children both in Malawi with the World Camp for Kids, and for community-based programs in Greenville, North Carolina. While at Duke she worked with Duke’s Health Inequalities Program on a project to improve care for people living with HIV/AIDS in North Carolina. Maggie was involved in numerous servicelearning organizations, served as President of Chi Omega sorority, and was an admissions ambassador for Duke. She is an avid sports fan who loves Georgia football and Duke basketball.
