Molly grew up in Norwell, Massachusetts. She completed her undergraduate studies at Connecticut College, double majoring in French and International Relations with a concentration in Africa, Gender and Human Rights. While at Connecticut College, she completed a three-year interdisciplinary certificate program examining the impact of international laws related to gender in Rwanda. As a part of her studies, she spent three months in Rwanda working with the United Nations Population Fund. Prior to joining GHC, Molly worked with the West African non-profit, Project Muso Ladamunen in Mali, assisting in programmatic implementation and design along with data management and collection for programs in non-formal education and microfinance. Since completing her studies, Molly has additionally worked for a broad-based dental public health coalition in Massachusetts seeking to increase access and use of oral health services and evidence-based programs and as a research assistant at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine for a study regarding the oral health in underserved nursing home populations. Molly enjoys traveling and swimming and is excited to return to Rwanda to work with the Access Project.
