Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Paige has lived in Atlanta, Georgia for the past five years. As Program Officer for the CDC Foundation Paige supports epidemiologists, health economists, and policymakers with training and capacity building to help them analyze priority health issues, share and disseminate public health data, and develop policies and interventions. Paige has supported large-scale, donor-funded global health initiatives in low and middle-income countries across Africa and Asia, focused on assisting country partners in collecing efficient public health data to make data-informed decisions. She also focuses on integrating health interventions and gender equity into government strategic plans, a key accomplishment that has had major downstream community impact. Paige is also a proud member of her local Medical Reserve Corps unit in Atlanta, where she played a pivotal role in piloting the DeKalb County community COVID-19 vaccination clinic that focused on offering culturally competent and patient-centered care. As a GHC fellow, Paige is looking forward to developing her problem-solving skills, cross-cultural communication skills, and strategic thinking to tackle pressing complex health challenges that she encounters in her current role and beyond.
