Health equity for me means ensuring that none of the factors that differentiate people in society have any impact on the quality of health care accessible to them.
Tiza hails from Kabwe, Zambia. She is a feminist and an advocate for sexual reproductive health that is passionate about research and enhancing youth voices in the community. Prior to joining GHC, Tiza was a youth leader and researcher for MasterCard Foundation and Restless Development, working to link women to careers in STEM and ICT. Additionally, she was a DREAMS Initiative Ambassador who mentored adolescent boys and girls on sexual and reproductive health and a TV host for a show sponsored by the National Aids Council that addresses HIV, AIDS, and SRHR for adolescents. In her free time, Tiza enjoys practicing yoga and mixing music.
