Tahab Talib

Senior Project Lead

Partners In Health–US

Hailing from Rockaway, New Jersey, Tahab Talib serves as Senior Project Lead at Partners In Health–US. Tahab takes pride in supporting the diverse communities of his home state by collaborating closely with community health workers statewide. These partnerships have deepened Tahab’s understanding of the challenges residents face in accessing healthcare, housing, and food. By equipping CHWs with the tools, support, and recognition they deserve, Tahab aims to strengthen their ability to drive meaningful, lasting change.

In his current position, Tahab leads the pioneering Community Health Worker Employer Landscape Survey in New Jersey, providing essential data to improve CHW employment and support systems. Previously, Tahab is especially proud of his frontline service as a Quarantine Public Health Officer at Newark Airport during the COVID-19 pandemic, playing a vital role in mitigating virus transmission.

Committed to advancing health equity, Tahab works to dismantle systemic barriers preventing underserved communities from accessing care—whether through direct public health efforts or by empowering CHWs on the frontlines. His work is driven by the conviction that everyone deserves a fair chance to live a healthy life, no matter their zip code or background.

To Tahab, leadership embodies Margaret Mead’s words: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
