Alayna Sublette was born and raised in Southern California, USA, and is currently living in Washington, D.C., USA. Alayna is dedicated to motivating individuals, organizations, and corporations to use their unique skills and resources to uplift underserved communities. Prior to joining GHC, Alayna was a Corporate Partnerships Assistant at SOS Children’s Villages, an international development nonprofit dedicated to orphaned and abandoned children. Alayna received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas Christian University. After graduating, Alayna served as an AmeriCorps VISTA Project Coordinator in Dallas. She also volunteered as an ESL teacher to refugees in Dallas. In her free time, Alayna enjoys traveling to new places, hiking with her dad, and playing tennis. Alayna looks forward to working with a diverse group of people motivated by a common goal: to develop a deeper understanding of health equity and how to achieve it.
