Title: Project Officer
To me, health equity means closing the gaps in healthcare access produced by structural factors but it also means working at the human level and understanding the unique needs of communities around the world in order to address them with tailored responses.

Brynn Kolada was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Most recently, Brynn worked with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation in the new business development department. In this role, she secured funding for HIV/AIDS and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV programs in sub-Saharan Africa. Brynn attended the University of Michigan where she studied global health and medical anthropology while also volunteering with the HIV/AIDS Resource Center in Ypsilanti, Michigan. After graduating from the University of Michigan, she interned with women’s health advocacy organizations that focused on expansion of access to family planning and sexual and reproductive health services here in the United States and around the world. In her free time, Brynn can be found running, playing soccer and co-hosting a podcast about sports and gender.
