Chimwemwe Chifungo hails from Lilongwe, Malawi. Prior to joining GHC, he completed his Masters degree in Forestry Economics and Management from Beijing Forestry University in Beijing, China. Chimwemwe was also a Project Officer at Pula Advisors Business Consultancy, where he helped farmers combat the effects of climate change through the Monsanto Seed Malawi Crop Insurance Program. He was also a Research Assistant at Farm Radio Trust and Education Expertise Development Foundation. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and traveling.
