Hailing from Lilongwe, Malawi, Gabriel Kamowatimwa worked in the monitoring and evaluation unit of Counterpart International prior to joining GHC. In this role, he monitored the Organizational Capacity Development of 27 local organizations and provided technical support to sub-grantees implementing projects on HIV/AIDS malaria, disability rights, and water, sanitation, and hygiene. Gabriel obtained his undergraduate degree in economics with minors in sociology and psychology from University of Malawi, Chancellor College. During his free time, he enjoys watching football, writing, composing music, and making friends.
