A native of Mzimba, Malawi, Isaac Phiri is co-founder and an active board member of the Centre for Child Development and Research. Prior to joining GHC, he worked with CRECCOM as a monitoring and evaluation officer for projects in health, education, youth development, and gender equity. Isaac has also worked on monitoring and evaluation for EveryChild, building the capacity of 10 community-based organizations to evaluate their own impact. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in education, worked as a teaching assistant, and served as President of the Human Ecology Society at the University of Malawi, Chancellor College. Isaac enjoys playing and watching soccer.
