Isabelle Charles is from Petaluma, California. After spending a summer volunteering with an anti-trafficking nonprofit on the border of Thailand and Myanmar, she decided to study international relations and health promotion in university and graduated with her BA from California State University, Chico. During her time in university she interned for the University of California Cooperative Extension's nutritional department and was involved with her Model UN team. After graduation, she went on to work for the American Red Cross, where she focused on promoting resiliency in vulnerable refugee and migrant communities and increasing public education about international humanitarian law. Outside of work, Isabelle loves to play outside, whether it be hiking, kayaking, or climbing, and playing with her pet bunny, Cinnamon.
