Currently based in New York City, Madeline Carwile is committed to using data and evidence to improve healthcare outcomes. Madeline serves as a Program Coordinator II in the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. There, she manages and analyzes 9/11 responders' data to improve care and better understand the impacts of 9/11 exposure on health. After attaining her Master of Public Health from Boston University, Madeline served as the study coordinator for a TB-nutrition prospective cohort trial in India and has published seven peer-reviewed papers on the intersection of tuberculosis, undernutrition, parasitic infections, and TB-related stigma.
