Monique Miller hails from Toronto, Canada. Before joining GHC, Monique worked as a program officer with Engineers Without Borders in Malawi. In this role, she worked with national and district government, NGOs and Members of Parliament to advocate for improved financing for sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene service delivery. Monique holds a master’s degree in international migration and public policy from the London School of Economics (LSE). While studying, she volunteered with the Somali Health for All Initiative Trust to support a health systems strengthening effort in Somaliland. She was also on the LSE rowing team and volunteered with Debate Mate to empower urban youth in London. Monique completed her bachelor’s degree in international development with an emphasis on gender at the University of Guelph in Canada. In her spare time, she can be found at boot camp, Zumba, with friends and family, or listening to music.
