Tye Seabrook is from Opelika, Alabama. She attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in health care management and most recently, a Master of Public Health with a concentration in health behavior. Before joining GHC, Tye worked as an HIV prevention specialist for Birmingham AIDS Outreach where she focused on offering prevention services to African-American,Hispanic, and Latino Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM). While in Birmingham, Tye also served on the Minorities Health and Health Disparities Young Professionals Board as well as the One Roof Junior Board which strives to end homelessness in central Alabama. In her spare time, Tye can be found serving the community or trying new foods at local restaurants. In addition to being a GHC fellow, Tye is an AmeriCorps VISTA member.
