Mackenzie Stratton

Senior Digital and Communications Specialist

Ariadne Labs

Mackenzie Stratton is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and serves as Senior Digital and Communications Specialist at Ariadne Labs. Mackenzie believes public health is for everyone—everyone deserves access to high-quality, actionable health information tailored to their needs, whether they are a researcher in Boston, a policymaker in Bangkok, or a mother in Tulsa or Uttar Pradesh. Through her work, she connects global communities to vital information through health messaging and storytelling.

Outside of her professional role, Mackenzie is a passionate musician who uses choral singing as a tool for community building, particularly among marginalized groups. In her current position, Mackenzie provides communications support across Ariadne Labs’ programs spanning more than ten clinical areas, including maternal and child health, primary care, and surgery. She is energized by the opportunity to amplify health messages that promote equity and dignity.

Mackenzie is deeply committed to the idea that every person deserves good health and dignity throughout their health journey. She envisions a world where everyone can thrive. To Mackenzie, leadership means striving for continual improvement. She draws inspiration from Atul Gawande’s words: “Better is possible. It does not take genius. It takes diligence. It takes moral clarity. It takes ingenuity. And above all, it takes a willingness to try.”
