Charles Rominiyi is from Portsmouth, VA, but currently lives in Washington DC. Prior to joining GHC, Charles completed a year of service working as a Youth Health Educator for Metro Teen AIDS with the AIDS United AmeriCorps program. He provided HIV/STI testing and risk-reduction counseling to youth in the DC area. Charles received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Old Dominion University and a Master of Health Sciences in health education from Western Carolina University. While in graduate school, he was a coordinator in the student recreation center. He worked to bring creative recreational programming to the Western Carolina University campus. Charles is a certified Health Fitness Specialist and he enjoys helping people optimize their health through functional exercise and nutritional counseling. He loves playing basketball, biking and fishing in his spare time.
