As someone who was born and raised in a remote community, I always remind myself that I do not have to forget where I came from. When I am impacting any community, I feel that I am impacting the community where I come from. I also believe someone can come from a community like my own and reach my level or even beyond.

Aime´ is from Rwanda. In 2011, he worked with Inzozi Nziza Ltd. in Butare as a Linguistic and Management intern where he started an ice cream and coffee shop, training the employees on English skills and customer service. Aime´ went on to join the International Organization for Migration, conducting research in rural areas of Rwanda. In addition, he conducted research for the water sanitation organization Water for People, in partnership with World Water Corps. Most recently, Aime´ worked with the Global Engagement Institute as an Operations Officer, assisting in program operations, conducting research, and developing new projects with rural communities. As an undergraduate, Aime´ studied at the National University of Rwanda where he majored in journalism and communications. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in rural areas and making new friends.
