Health equity is a balanced position when every person has the opportunity to attain his/her full health potential without basing on his/her socially determined conditions the person is experiencing.

Alba hails from Kigali, Rwanda. She is dedicated to improving household and neighborhood welfare for low-income families and alleviating health inequities in Rwanda. Prior to joining GHC, Alba worked with Journeyman International providing architectural designs to charitable organizations. Additionally, she has experience volunteering with Studio Rose, an architecture firm based in the Netherlands, which led to her involvement with the Empowering Villages project. In partnership with East African Power, Alba has designed facilities including schools, libraries, and community centers. In her free time, she enjoys writing and traveling.
