Everyone, everywhere, deserves to be healthy.

Alex is from San Diego, California. In 2011, he was awarded a national research fellowship to circumnavigate the globe in three months, which he used to interview experts on MDR-TB control in Ecuador, Peru, Tanzania, Ethiopia, India, and Vietnam. He has since worked on public health projects in London and Ecuador, advocating cost-effective trauma treatment and coordinating a Gates-funded pilot study that aimed to improve childhood immunization rates in the Amazon. Alex studied international relations and global health at Georgetown University and pursued his Masters in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He is passionate about practical, people-oriented public health and the bridge between health, communication, and design. Alex speaks English, Spanish, French, and some Swedish. He is a freelance graphic designer in his spare time.
