Alex Kloos grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. She attended Boston College where she pursued a degree in international studies. While in school Alex studied abroad in Grahamstown, South Africa, volunteering in a township community. Before joining GHC, Alex worked at World Education, supporting the organization’s portfolio in Zimbabwe. This portfolio focused on providing comprehensive services to orphans and vulnerable children affected by HIV including child protection, health, education, and economic strengthening interventions. She was lucky to work with a dedicated and passionate team in Boston and Zimbabwe, driven to improve the lives of vulnerable populations. Alex loves to read, ski, and spend time with friends and family.
