Health equity means equal access to resources that facilitate human beings to live a sustainable health regardless their social, economic or political status in their communities.

Alice Uwimana is from Kigali, Rwanda. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the School of Finance and Banking (SFB). Before attending university, she received a competitive full scholarship from the US-based organization called Generation Rwanda. During her time at SFB, Alice was a member of the Association of Student Survivors Of Genocide known as AERG. She thereafter became the Generation Rwanda’s WE CAN WOMEN Association representative at SFB. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she coordinated KANYANA Pure Ethics, a shop that designs, makes, and sells African arts and crafts. Alice has recently been working as an internal auditor and statistical parametric mapping (SPM) champion at SAGER GANZA Microfinance Ltd. She likes networking with people.
