Alphonse Nshimyiryo was born in Rwanda. Before joining GHC, Alphonse’s work focused on the strategic use of data for global health work. He developed data collection tools and trained data collectors on proper protocol to ensure quality data results while working for Partners in Health Rwanda. Alphonse conducted data quality checks and analyses and drafted reports for evidence-based decisions. He also assisted in the preparation for multiple conference abstracts including health economic costing, cancer care training programs, use of Electronic Medical Record data for HIV patient monitoring, clinical decision-making and quality improvement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in applied statistics from the National University of Rwanda.
