Annie grew up in New Jersey and attended Tulane University, where she studied architecture, studio art, and urban studies. She spent a year studying architecture and urbanism in Copenhagen and focused her master’s thesis on the design of public spaces, proposing a new system of public transit, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure for the city of New Orleans. Annie is particularly interested in the study of public space and transit as a tool for promoting social equity. Previously, Annie has spent time at a design and research institute, a study abroad organization, and an architecture and planning firm in ?New Orleans, Copenhagen and New York City, respectively. Annie enjoys cooking, swimming, exploring by bike, and is a picnic enthusiast.
