Ashley Rogers received her Masters in Public Administration and Certificate in International Development Management from the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. For her capstone, she developed a manual of evaluation techniques appropriated for small and medium-sized nonprofits and presented the product to Innovations for Poverty Action. While in graduate school she was a Teaching Assistant for a graduate course titled Managing Organization Performance and interned for the U.S. Department of State in Malawi. As an intern she conducted a policy analysis of healthcare finance options in Malawi and presented her findings to the USAID Mission Director. Prior to graduate school, Rogers worked for an international development nonprofit called HELP International. She was a Country Director for HELP in Uganda and later pioneered an entirely new program in Fiji. As a Program Director for HELP she took responsibility for volunteer and Country Director training, performance measurement, and impact evaluation. Prior to HELP, Rogers received her BA in Political Science from Brigham Young University. She grew up in Chandler, Arizona and enjoys exploring the mountains of the Southwestern United States.
