Ayokunle "Ayo" was born and raised in Nigeria. In 2013, Ayo received a Master’s degree in Public Affairs with a certificate in Health and Health Policy from Princeton University. His passion for international development, stem from early childhood experiences watching his mother, a midwife, provide pre and post-natal care and education to pregnant women in rural villages. Ayo received his undergraduate degree in Economics and Public Policy from Hobart College. After college, he worked at Princeton and then for Goldman Sachs in the asset management division. In 2010, he moved back to Nigeria to work with one of the southern state governments. Ayo also volunteered as a data analyst for the Clinton Health Access Initiative to support the national and provincial South African Departments of Health in their Malaria elimination efforts. Ayo enjoys many passtime activities, including wine tasting, cooking, and traveling.
