Azza Dushime Kagina hails from Kigali, Rwanda where she has effectively leveraged her background in architecture and leadership to advocate for the integration of health equity and social justice principles into architectural projects. Prior to joining GHC, Azza participated in an internship with the Rwandan Institute of Architects where she contributed to advancing architectural standards and promoting sustainable design practices in Rwanda. Azza also worked with Quest Africa, where she made an impact through the design and implementation of sustainable, affordable, and culturally sensitive architectural solutions for underserved communities. Azza enjoys reading novels and taking time to explore earth’s natural beauty.
