Danny grew up in Minnesota. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, majoring in Global Studies with a concentration in International Political Economy, before beginning a career in finance with Corporate Financial Advisors, HSBC, and Citibank. Danny enlisted in the US Army Reserve on his seventeenth birthday and has served a number of roles through the military; most recently, he completed training as a civil affairs specialist and health care specialist (combat medic). He has volunteered with several service projects as a member of Rotary International. He also earned a Master of Arts degree in international law from the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica. As an avid traveler, Danny has visited over 60 countries! He enjoys writing music, studying languages, weightlifting, skiing, and sailing, and is also interested in architecture, sustainable agriculture, and biochemistry.
