Title: Health Officer
"I am motivated by the chance to learn something new, to meet new people, and by the chance to do what I love while making a difference to those around me."

Breeanna graduated in 2011 from University of California at Berkeley with a double major in Biology and Peace and Conflict Studies. At UC Berkeley she was a Health and Medical Apprenticeship Intern, helped teach an anatomy lab as an Undergraduate Student Instructor, and was a Resident Assistant helping incoming first-year students adjust to college life. She also went to Ecuador to volunteer with a mobile medical clinic. Her passion for global health sprang from when she studied abroad in India, and since then she has been working in an emergency room as a medical scribe. Following her drive to end health inequities, Breeanna has volunteered at the Berkeley Free Clinic for the past year serving those that are underrepresented in her community. Breeanna loves to backpack, enjoys learning new languages, and is looking forward to working with GHC this year!
