Brenda Asiimwe is from Kyemengo Village in Mitooma District, Uganda. Brenda has experience as a program and communications officer for African Initiatives for Relief and Development, where it gave her great joy to know that her work contributed to the well being of refugees and other vulnerable groups of people. She also worked as a social media executive for New Vision, where she had the opportunity to interact with audiences first-hand and get feedback about their interests. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Uganda Christian University in Mukono in 2011.
