Hailing from Mbarara, Uganda, Brenda Nsiimenta has spent her career supporting refugees to be informed about their health rights in emergency situations. Prior to joining GHC, Brenda worked as a nutrition assistant with Action Against Hunger where she specifically focused on supporting South Sudanese refugees and their well-being. In her time at Action Against Hunger, Brenda served as an advocate for effective healthcare policies in various districts during which she was involved in community engagement, lobbying and project accountability. In her free time, Brenda ensures that she stays sharp about global health by watching various health-related series and documentaries.
