Bridget Ulalo Shumba hails from Lilongwe, Malawi and has made it her mission to ensure the successful co-existence of religious belief and health service delivery. Prior to joining GHC, Bridget took on a role as a Fundraising and Partnership Advisor at the Centre for Youth and Development, where she leveraged different partnerships with both the private and public sector to support youth and community members in realizing their full potential. Bridget also worked with the Malawi Interfaith AIDS Association where she worked with religious leaders and traditional leaders to end child marriages which increase the risk of HIV in adolescent girls and young women. Bridget enjoys trying out different recipes in the kitchen and crocheting in her free time.
