Brittany is from South Kingstown, Rhode Island. After completing her undergraduate studies in advertising and marketing communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Brittany moved overseas where she taught English and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. After returning from abroad, she pursued a master's degree in international development and globalization at the University of Ottawa in Canada. During her studies, she worked as a marketing project assistant for the Center for Global Health where she discovered her passion for health equity. Most recently, Brittany acted as a marketing officer on a reusable sanitary pads project in Malawi. In her free time, Brittany enjoys doing yoga and traveling.
