Originally from Florida, USA, Cassidy Howell is a public health specialist who has been part of Ebola research teams. Most recently, she worked on monitoring and evaluation of Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response with the International Medical Corps in Guinea. She has also volunteered with LGBTQ health outreach, walked in the annual Walk to End HIV, and interned with Save the Children for Humanitarian Response and the International Medical Corps technical unit. Cassidy holds a bachelor’s degree in African studies with minors in French and health disparities from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University. She enjoys yoga, reading, and leisurely hikes.
