Angel hails from Lusaka, Zambia. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Zambia as a sociology major with a minor in psychology. While at university, Angel volunteered with Youth Alive Zambia, an organization that works to encourage behavior changes in young people in the face of the AIDS pandemic. Angel also was involved with the university's HIV/AIDS Response Program. In her final year as an undergraduate, she did a study on the factors that affect the reintegration of those who utilize mental health services in her city. Angel went on to intern with Churches Health Association of Zambia where she handled the organization’s social networking sites and helped monitor partner projects all over Zambia. Prior to joining GHC, Angel spent time with World Vision Zambia as Technical Support for Operations. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, baking and engaging in intellectual debate.
