A native of Marondera, Zimbabwe, Chido Kelly Saruh Rusike is a sexual and reproductive health advocate who prioritizes the needs and challenges of young people. Prior to joining GHC, she led the implementation of Southern African Development Community-based programs that focused on sexual and reproductive health, gender-inclusive policy changes, and evidence-based advocacy. Additionally, Saruh co-facilitated a 4-week Social Accountability Monitoring course, co-authored an academic piece that went on to win the ECIS 2020 Claudio Ciborra Award for "Most Innovative Paper,” and made contributions to the USAID MOMENTUM “The Power of Youth Voices” Landscape Analysis. Saruh is an avid nature enthusiast and a big foodie. She enjoys making use of her film camera while exploring the natural beauty of Earth.
