Hailing from Lusaka, Zambia, Chisha Chola has allowed the mantra “we shall not rest until social justice is achieved” energize and guide his efforts as an advocate within his communities. Prior to joining GHC, Chisha served as the chairperson for the University of Zambia HIV Response Program where he led more than 50 peer educators in the promotion of health equity through the development of HIV and AIDS prevention programs and the improvement of sexual and reproductive health and public health programming. Chisha was the second of three Zambians to be selected as a Hansen Leadership Institute Fellow during which he was a representative of Zambia at the University of San Diego. Chisha is an actor, entertainer, and event organizer in his free time and he keeps himself active by playing futsal with his friends.
