Chizizi hails from Mzimba, Malawi. He is dedicated to using informatics interventions to improve patient-level data management, hospital reporting, health policies, and accessibility to healthcare. Prior to joining GHC, Duncan worked as the Health Informatics Deployment and Support Specialist with Baobab Health and assisted in rolling out the TB electronic management system that digitized indicators in over 250 Malawi government hospitals. Additionally, he led digital transformation efforts at Tata International Malawi as their IT Management Specialist and was a UN volunteer who supported the 2030 SDGs through social volunteerism. In his free time, he enjoys reading magazines and following international development and political trends.
