Chomba Zenengeya is originally from Zambia, but now lives in Lilongwe, Malawi. She received her undergraduate degree from Chancellor College, University of Malawi and is currently completing her Master of Public Health. While at Chancellor College, Chomba was a member of a peer educator association that provides education and mentoring on HIV/AIDS in an effort to promote health-enhancing behavior. She was part of the team that started a collaborative partnership between University of California, Los Angeles and University of Malawi. Chomba also served as student representative at leadership and health consultations in South Korea and Jamaica and has worked on various health-research projects as a research assistant and program analyst.
