Author: Claire Perkins

Claire graduated from Pomona College in 2010 with a BA in Public Policy Analysis and a focus in Anthropology. While at Pomona, Claire was Chair of VOX, the sexual health education and reproductive rights advocacy group for the Claremont Colleges. She also led trips for their outdoors club, On the Loose, and still enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking and all other outdoor activities. Claire became interested in Public Health work after spending a summer volunteering in the Peruvian Andes, and has since worked at the LA AIDS Coordinator's Office, East Valley Community Health Center, and various other healthcare and policy organizations. For the past year, Clare has lived in San Francisco and worked as a Post-Baccalaureate Intern at UCSF's AIDS Health Project. She also tutored high school students and volunteered as an HIV test counselor. In her free tome, Claire enjoys board games, baking, talking to strangers, and having adventures.
